Your information

Privacy notice.

Who is responsible for your information?

I am Carrie Philp, trading as Mrs P Tutoring, and I am the data controller for the personal information I use to respond to tuition enquiries and provide tuition services.

You can send questions or privacy requests to me at info@mrsptutoring.co.uk or telephone me on 07498 403212.

Information I collect through this website

I ask for a parent or carer’s name, email address, optional telephone number, the child’s school year, the service of interest and a short message. Please do not include diagnoses, medical details or other sensitive personal information in the form.

I use security services that may process technical information such as IP address, browser information and challenge results to prevent spam and misuse.

Why I use the information

  • I read and respond to your enquiry.
  • I discuss availability and whether my service may be suitable.
  • I protect my website and form from spam, fraud and technical abuse.
  • I keep records where I need them to establish or manage a client relationship.

I rely on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, and my legitimate interests in answering enquiries and keeping the service secure. A different basis may apply to records I collect once tuition begins.

Services I use to process information

I host this website with Cloudflare and use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish genuine enquiries from automated abuse. I use Resend to send enquiry emails to my business email service. These providers process information according to their own contractual and privacy terms.

The homepage uses Google Places UI Kit to show current Google reviews. Your browser connects to Google when this panel loads, so Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details and the page you visited. Review content and reviewer attribution are supplied live by Google and are not stored by this website. Read the Google Privacy Policy.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, I use an appropriate transfer mechanism and contractual safeguards where required.

How long I keep information

I delete unsuccessful or one-off enquiries when I no longer need them, normally within 12 months of our last contact. I may need to keep records connected with tuition, payments, safeguarding or legal obligations for different periods.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask me for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer of your personal information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and whether the phone number or email link is used. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address, which Google truncates, and Google may transfer this data outside the UK under its standard contractual terms. I use the information only in aggregate to improve the website. Cloudflare’s security services may use essential browser storage to operate and protect the form. Google may also use browser storage needed to provide its Places review panel. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Changes to this notice

I will update this notice when my website, tuition service or processing arrangements change.
